An Introduction to Genetic Algorithms for Scientists and
Engineers
By David Coley, World Scientific Press, 1999 (US$28 /
£19.04)
This book has been written both as a general introduction to genetic algorithms
for students, and as a primer for scientists and engineers who
think they might be able to use genetic algorithms to solve some of
their problems.
These pages contain the preface and contents page of the book,
together with updated copies of the software included with the
book, including genetic algorithms in BASIC, FORTRAN, PASCAL and C.
