In September 2011 Dragan has been elected to the IWA Strategic Council. The International Water Association (IWA) is the global network of over 10,000 water professionals spanning the continuum between research and practice and covering all facets of the water cycle.
The Strategic Council role is to:
- Guide the strategic plan to promote a progressive agenda aimed at meeting both internal and external objectives
- Provide advice to Executive Committee
- Stimulate and promote specialist groups activities and their collaboration
- Stimulate and promote new interest groups, new activities and their connections with others in IWA
- Stimulate and promote IWA strategic programmes
- Ensure strategic coordination with IWA Publishing
- Review policies and position materials
