The Centre for Water systems at the University of Exeter is offering three full EngD studentships to start in September 2012. The four year programme of study, leading to an EngD doctoral degree, is funded by EPSRC through the Industrial Doctorate Centre for the Water Sector (STREAM).

The studentship includes full fees and a stipend of £19,000 p.a. in the first two years and £20,000 in the last two year, all tax free with fully paid student fees. The student will be co-supervised by academic and industrial partners.

Applications will be open to persons from UK and EU members, residing in UK. Applicants must meet the EPSRC eligibility requirements which can be found here. Applications for each project have to be submitted through the link below:
1.    Rainwater harvesting in the wild. Deadline: 31st May 2012
2.    Dynamic licensing–integrated control of urban wastewater systems. Deadline: 31st May 2012
3.    The optimisation of wastewater treatment systems using adjoint solutions for CFD-based simulations.  Deadline 1st May 2012
