|Thursday May 23, 2013||University of Exeter > EXTS > PhD Study|
Exeter Turkish Studies offers a wide range of supervision for research degrees. We accept graduate students for the degrees of MPhil and PhD. Students are normally registered for an MPhil in the first instance, but will be transferred to PhD if the scope and progress of their research is satisfactory. As part of their PhD study all students are required to take an appropriate programme of research training.
ExTS welcomes good applicants for any of the Centre's main areas of research:
For further information, you should contact the named research director in each topic.
Each student has a first supervisor, second supervisor and a mentor, and will receive an effective and appropriate level of support, through both tailored research training and regular research supervision.
There is regular contact with the first supervisor and a formal discussion of progress each term.
Research students participate in the annual postgraduate conference organised by their College and can take full advantage of numerous Effective Researcher Development workshops and short courses organised by the Exeter Graduate School.
