PIM - In-Sessional Provision: Issues and Practices
The Exeter PIM was held at the Peter Chalk Centre, Exeter University on Saturday November 12th, 2005.
Around thirty papers were presented , all parallel sessions except for a final plenary on insessional teacher competencies. The parallel sessions covered a range of topic areas broadly divided into fours strands: the design of insessional programmes; working with subject departments; pedagogy, and working in particular skill areas. The links on the left connect to the day’s programme and abstracts.
Some papers are now also available for download, in pdf or PowerPoint format.
A follow-up PIM was held at the University of Portsmouth on 17 November 2007 entitled 'In-sessional provision: curriculum, teaching and quality'.
