Medical Archive Project

This project, which ran until September 1996, was funded by the University of Exeter and Exeter Hospitals Heritage Trust. The initial remit was to locate and list medical records (especially those in hospitals) in the Exeter area. The information gathered was entered onto a database.After September 1996 the project was then extended to cover the records of Community Services in the Exeter and East Devon areas of Devon, and G.P. records.The staff involved with the project were as follows: Dr. Joseph Melling (Director), Mr. Alasdair Paterson (Director), Dr. Jonathan Barry (Director), Dr. Paul Weindling (Consultant), Mrs. Gillian Falla (Archivist), Mr. Robert Turner (Researcher), Marea Bee (Administrator).
